Airbourne In Bloom 2011 Results
Pupils from St. John’s Meads CE Primary School will make their way along the seafront to Holywell to plant out their design. They will meet The Worshipful The Mayor and representatives from Eastbourne Borough Council as part of the ‘Airbourne In-Bloom’ initiative organised in conjunction with Eastbourne Education Business Partnership.

St. John’s Meads CE Primary School (green tops) school won the annual ‘In-Bloom’ competition for Eastbourne primary schools in March and will be helping the Mayor and staff from The Landscape Group to plant out their winning carpet garden design.
The runner's up were Bourne Primary School (red tops).
Stone Cross Nurseries Ltd, Observatory Science Centre and St. Andrews’s School, Meads have very kindly donated prizes for the event. Each school will also receive a special certificate in ‘recognition of achievement’, designed by Firebrand.
Eastbourne EBP are very grateful for the support and sponsorship from Eastbourne Borough Council, Stone Cross Nurseries, The Landscape Group, St. Andrew’s School, Meads, Observatory Science Centre and Firebrand Design.
This is the sixteenth In-Bloom design created by local primary schools. The initiative contributes to school curriculum work by putting learning into context and developing links beyond the classroom.
